As many STEM school proponents can attest, with cutting-edge technology integration comes the need for fast, reliable technology support. But what if your school could provide comprehensive help desk services utilizing the talents and skills of your own students? St. Joseph’s Academy, an all-girls college preparatory high school in Baton Rouge, LA, uses the teaching environment of the student-run help desk to give students real-world experience in troubleshooting and repair.
Come find out how, with the right guidance, your students can learn more about technology and actively participate in their school community in the process. This moderated group discussion will explore a particular application of student-centered learning in the context of providing technology support in a 1:1 device environment.
